Eleven and a half years ago our son Matthew died in an auto accident on his way home from Sunday night youth group. A trip he had made every Sunday since he started to drive at 16. He was almost 20 years old and just starting as a counselor for the junior high kids. A couple of months after his death we were invited to a loss of a child group by close friends that had lost there son, only a month before Matt. What we found there were other parents and grandparents that were going through the grief we all were. Talking about the grief with others like us, in a safe and confidential environment was the best thing we have done to move forward. Hope we can pass this one forward.
